Google Apps is one of the best and free solution for webmasters and bloggers who want to have a professional image by having email with their domain name and such other things. Google Apps standard edition is free and it gives you 50 free email accounts with your domain name. Previously we discussed How to Setup Google Apps with Hosting account and now its time to solve a problem.
The Problem
After you have setup Google Apps account such as CNAME and MX records etc, you should be able to send and receive emails BUT if you are only able to send emails with Google Apps and you are not able to receive emails with Google Apps then problem is with your nameservers.
Yes! Nameservers. Actually, sometime, a Hosting company gives two name servers but smart bloggers and webmasters convert those name server IPs and use them as their OWN name servers. See Example,
Hostgator.com gives you two name servers suppose these are,
NS1.hostgator.com
and
NS2.hostgator.com
with two IP addresses. But You extract IP addresses from those given nameservers and register those IP addresses to be used as your own name servers like
NS1.yourdomain.com
and
NS1.yourdomain.com
This trick works succesully but partially becuase you have hide orignal nameservers. Thats why You will be able to send email from your Google Apps Email account BUT no one will be able to send you. Whenever some will send you email, he will receive error:
“Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550“

SOLUTION
Simply, modify your domain name servers to originals. If you dont know your original Nameservers, then contact your hosting support team.
