Google Apps is free service from Google Inc. which allows you to have free email service, documentation applications, calendar and much more with your own domain name. There are two types of Google Apps, free and paid. Google Apps Standard version for Domains is free and with it you can get 50 free email accounts with your domain name like name@example.com. So, if you have a domain name and hosted some Cpanel hosting like hostgator, hostmonster etc then follow below given steps to integrate Google Apps with Your Cpanel hosting.
 

Step#1 – Install Google Apps on Your Domain Hosting

• Go to Standard Version Page of Google Apps and Click on Get Started
• Now, selected the first option and enter your domain name in box and click on Get started.

• Now, Enter the Details like first name, last name etc and click on Continue
• Now, Create your first administrator account by providing details such as a desired username, password etc and then click on “i accept, continue with setup” button.
• This may take a few minutes to show you next page so, wait for few seconds or minutes.
• Now, Select the first option “Upload an HTML” and click on Continue

• Now, Google will ask you to Upload an HTML file to verify domain ownership. Google will say you to create an HTML file with a particular name and copy-paste a particular text also. Simply, create that HTML file with that name and copy-paste the code in that file and save that file.

• Now Upload that file to your domain hosting
• After uploading, go back to Google Apps setup page and click on I’ve completed the steps above button.
• After successful verification, you will be redirected to Google Apps Dashboard.
• That’s it! You have Completed Step#1.

Step#2 – Change MX Records of Your Domain Hosting

• Now, Go to your domain hosting panel
• Find Find MX Entry within Mail menu

• Now Select Your Domain Name for which you are struggling that much.

• Now You will see a box as shown in below picture

• Put Below Given information one by one and click Click ‘Add New Record’ when you’re done. Repeat that step until all five MX record inserted correctly.

Add new MX record. Follow guideline from Google.

1	ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
5	ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM

Put Priority from table above to Priority in picture below and Mail Server from table to Destination in picture.

• Now, Delete old record with 0 Priority
• Click Delete link and confirmation of delete will appear. Choose Delete to continue.

• Its DONE, You Have Completed Step#2.

Step#3 – The Final Step to Enjoy Google Apps.

• Simply Go to Your Google Apps Email Account using default URL http://mail.google.com/a/YOURDOMAIN
• Login in your Account and from Now, you will be able to send and receive emails.

Extra Information about Google Apps

• If you want to change the default mail URL then ask your Domain Hosting support to add a CNAME record with following details
• cname: mail
• direction: ghs.google.com

Note: You can not do this from you cpanel directly so you need to ask your domain hosting support to do this. Hostgator did this for me within few minutes as its my domain hosting company.

• Now, when support team has created a cname record.
• Login at your Google Apps dashboard from http://www.google.com/a/YOURDOMAIN
• Now Click on Email
• Now its time to change Web address of Email, so, Click on Change URL button

• Now Select the second option and click on Continue

• Finally, Click on I’ve completed these steps on the new opened page and THATS IT!

Now you have installed Google Apps Standard Edition (free edition) on your cpanel hosted domain name. Now you can send and receive emails with your domain email address for free. Whenever you want to login in your email account, Just open http://mail.YOURDOMAIN.com

The Problem

After you have setup Google Apps account such as CNAME and MX records etc, you should be able to send and receive emails BUT if you are only able to send emails with Google Apps and you are not able to receive emails with Google Apps then problem is with your nameservers.

 

Yes! Nameservers. Actually, sometime, a Hosting company gives two name servers but smart bloggers and webmasters convert those name server IPs and use them as their OWN name servers. See Example,

Hostgator.com gives you two name servers suppose these are,

 

NS1.hostgator.com

and

NS2.hostgator.com

 

with two IP addresses. But You extract IP addresses from those given nameservers and register those IP addresses to be used as your own name servers like

 

NS1.yourdomain.com

and

NS1.yourdomain.com

 

This trick works succesully but partially becuase you have hide orignal nameservers. Thats why You will be able to send email from your Google Apps Email account BUT no one will be able to send you. Whenever some will send you email, he will receive error:

 

“Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550“

 

SOLUTION

Simply, modify your domain name servers to originals. If you dont know your original Nameservers, then contact your hosting support team.

Normally When you upload a picture/image at Blogger, a small sized (re-sized) picture (thumbnail) is displayed in your blogger post and you and your users have to click on that picture to see full size picture. This hack/trick will let you be able to Upload full size or any fixed size picture in you blog post. Normally

when you any HQ or Large Size picture in Blogger, it will be re-sized and would look like this.

Above Shown picture is 560px × 275px while when i uploaded that picture, blogger re-sized the picture into small picture (400px x 196px) But When you will Use this trick the above upload picture will not be re-sized and the original size of the picture will be displayed in your Blog Post.

If you want to show the original size of your Uploaded Picture as i did above, just follow these steps.

First, Calculate what size of a picture you want to display on your blog (in majority of blogs its 560px in width) here we will go with 560px width so that all uploaded pictures who are larger than 560 pixels will be re sized to 560px in width and height will be set automatically. Follow these two steps.

• On Your Dashboard, Click on Layout (see below shown picture for further assistance)
